The dual dosing unit for powdered and granulated products further developed by WIRTECH AG combines two proven dosing systems and replaces conventional small component dosing. This enables use for an almost unlimited variety of different raw materials and products. The speed-controlled blade rotation conveys the product forcibly and smoothly to the discharge. The flap changes the flow volume and closes the dosing process in one stroke at the end. Both dosing systems can be individually adjusted and parameterised. These options guarantee that any product, no matter how heterogeneous, can be dosed with high performance and extreme precision. The infinitely variable rough and fine flow metering optimises the setting options for the most varied products. Negative weighing is free of dynamic bulk flow forces and requires no after-flow control. A reproducible and extremely precise final cut-off is the result.
The dual dosing unit is ideal for charges from 25kg to 100gr. WIRTECH AG guarantees a reproducible system accuracy of +/- 20gr.
In addition to the technical precision and robust design, the dual dosing unit meets the high requirements of the food industry with regard to hygiene and sanitation. Its interior is easily accessible and controllable. All materials and components used are FDA approved. The parts that come into contact with products are electrolytically polished and, thanks to the high surface quality, reduce the adhesion of dust or even residues of the product.
In addition to the standard version in V2A, versions in other material qualities, e.g. for salts and acids, are also available.
The dual dosing unit is designed for 24-hour use and is particularly suitable for automatic dosing in continuous shift operation.
